The Article 15 Resource Kit is written in a child friendly format so the tools and games are accessible and adaptable to a wide range of children and cultural contexts. Currently, the kit consists of 10 modules and 20 tools, each focusing on an aspect of the self-management of children’s groups.

Roger Hart is completing a longitudinal study on the changing nature of children’s out-of-school lives in a New England town. The study involves a revisiting of the town that he studied for his PhD dissertation in geography in the1970s. The results of the research will be published in a book and a film for television broadcast. 

Child Friendly Places is an approach for integrating children’s rights into local development initiatives and educational programs through a participatory, intergenerational and child friendly assessment and planning methodology that empowers communities to improve their local conditions and environments with children, adolescents, families, educators, service providers and decision makers.

CERG-Plan’s Young Citizens’ Score Cards is an adaption of CERG’s Child Friendly Places methodology. Young Citizens’ Score Cards engage youth to discuss, collaborate, assess, plan and monitor with service providers to achieve more inclusive services for girls and boys. The Young Citizens’ Score Cards are a child-centered, inclusive, and gender sensitive way to promote active participation in community planning.
